Fabulous Southwest Trip

The Southwest trip was absolutely amazing because I leaned the culture of the area a lot. I spent 7 days in the southwest and I impressed by people who live there and by their culture. These things were totally different from Japan and the people there preserved their traditions carefully. I talk to a lot of Americans and I saw wonderful nature during the trip. There are three absolutely wonderfu and amazing places that I enjoyed.

First, I went to a lot of museums and all of them were very interesting. I especially liked The Museum of International Folk Art. The museum has more than 130,000 objects from more than 100 countries! My favorite object was a smiling skeleton doll. This object’s theme was Day of The Dead. When I saw it, I remembered COCO which is a Pixar movie. I also liked The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. Georgia O’Keeffe was an American artist and she painted a lot of flowers and nature. I think her paintings are brimming with kindness and I like her touch. These two museums were totally fantastic.

Second, I went to the Plaza in Santa Fe and it was absolutely fabulous. I want to a lot of souvenir shops there and I bought some souvenirs for my family and relatives. The most fantastic souvenir I bought was a Christmas ornament. It was shaped like a hot-air balloon. Santa Fe is famous for it, and it was colorful and very pretty, so I bought it. After that I went to a restaurant which was recommended by a man at the visitor center. I ate cheese humbargar and it was very delicious. I enjoyed visiting the Plaza very much.

Third, I went to the Grand Canyon and it was absolutely wonderful. I got up at 5:00 a.m to see the sunrise at the most famous spot to see it. The climate was a little cloudy and absolutely freezing, but I saw a very beautiful sunrise. I also saw the sunset at Mather point and Yaki point. The sunset shined on the Grand Canyon and the color changed to orange. I went to a lot of points at the Grand Canyon and I took uncountable pictures. I saw absolutely enormous elk and I was surprised because they ate leaves on the tree. I impressed by the nature very much. It was the best part of the trip, and I will never forget the scenery.

Finally, I enjoyed the Southwest trip especially some museums, the Plaza in Santa Fe, and Grand Canyon. I had a wonderful time on the trip and it was the most absolutely fantastic trip for me ever! I will never forget the memories on the trip.

Neccesary Shopping

I can do amazing shopping in the U.S. I don’t actually go shopping so often in Japan because I don’t want to spend money. However, I can’t help buying things here. One of the reasons I love the U.S. is shopping. I am so excited to go shopping here more than in Japan. A shopping in America is fantastic for three reasons. My Favorite Clothes of Holister First of all, there are many kinds of shops in Spokane. That means I have many choices to buy something. In Japan, I can’t buy easily things I want because Japan doesn’t have my favorite shops. In addition, I have to pay more in Japan than in America. If someone asks me my recommendation in America, I’d introduce incredible shops, such as Hollister , Bath and Body , Victoria’s Secret , and American Eagle , and Yankee. These shops are highly famous in the U.S, and I can't buy products of Hollister and Bath and body and Victoria’s Secret in Japan except online shopping. My Precious Experience

The Awesome View at the Fair I have been having a good time since I came here. The teachers, RAs and staff at MFWI welcomed us warmly, so I was very happy and I am also happy now. My life at MFWI is little different from the last semester, but I'm really enjoying this life. Anyway, we went to the Spokane Interstate Fair on Tuesday, and I had wonderful experiences that I had never experienced before. The food was very appetizing. First, I was very hungry when we arrived there, so I ate a funnel cake, a big piece of chicken and some pizza. I had never eaten such a big cake and a piece of chicken, so I was excited and happy to eat them. They were very tasty, so I wanted to eat more food. My Tremendous Portland Trip

Have you ever been to Portland? I could learn a lot of things in Portland. I like Portland so much. Especially, I enjoyed Portland English Language Academy, McLoughlin House and Powell's City of Books. First, Portland English Language Academy was an enjoyable place for me. Before I entered the class, I was really nervous, because I can't keep talking with people whom I meet for the first time. However, this time was totally different. I had an activity of conversation to talk with every student. It made me comfortable. After that activity, I had a conversation about students' research such as selfie and future jobs. It was really interesting for me because I could hear various opinions about that. Then, the teacher recommended international students to talk about three favorite places in Portland.
