My Tremendous Portland Trip

Have you ever been to Portland? I could learn a lot of things in Portland. I like Portland so much. Especially, I enjoyed Portland English Language Academy, McLoughlin House and Powell's City of Books.
First, Portland English Language Academy was an enjoyable place for me. Before I entered the class, I was really nervous, because I can't keep talking with people whom I meet for the first time. However, this time was totally different. I had an activity of conversation to talk with every student. It made me comfortable. After that activity, I had a conversation about students' research such as selfie and future jobs. It was really interesting for me because I could hear various opinions about that. Then, the teacher recommended international students to talk about three favorite places in Portland. I learned more about Portland. Those activities were really helpful for me to talk with international students.
Next, McLoughlin House showed me culture. I was surprised by many things such as Chinese dishes, toilets and one horse. I didn't know that trade was famous between Oregon and China but I saw a lot of old Chinese dishes. After that, I heard about toilets. At that time, people didn't have toilets inside the house, so they used chamber pots instead of toilets. If I lived there those days, I could not use them. Also, I heard the story about a horse. One horse pulled the house to its current location. The story made me surprised. I couldn't believe that because only one horse pulled to move the house. I could learn new culture from this house.
Finally, Powell's City of Books made me excited to read books. Actually, I didn't like reading books so much. When I saw tons of books, I wanted to read books. I bought two books which were about Christmas and my favorite character such as Garfield. I tried to read those books. Moreover, I bought a diary. I don't like to write something, so I wanted to get used to writing something. When I go back to Japan, I want to keep a diary in English. Fortunately, I could change my mind.
In conclusion, a Portland Trip offered me changes and amazement. I don't want to forget the beautiful memory. Also, I had tons of opportunities to talk to extension students. If I can travel to Portland again, I want to go there with these extension students.

Neccesary Shopping

I can do amazing shopping in the U.S. I don’t actually go shopping so often in Japan because I don’t want to spend money. However, I can’t help buying things here. One of the reasons I love the U.S. is shopping. I am so excited to go shopping here more than in Japan. A shopping in America is fantastic for three reasons. My Favorite Clothes of Holister First of all, there are many kinds of shops in Spokane. That means I have many choices to buy something. In Japan, I can’t buy easily things I want because Japan doesn’t have my favorite shops. In addition, I have to pay more in Japan than in America. If someone asks me my recommendation in America, I’d introduce incredible shops, such as Hollister , Bath and Body , Victoria’s Secret , and American Eagle , and Yankee. These shops are highly famous in the U.S, and I can't buy products of Hollister and Bath and body and Victoria’s Secret in Japan except online shopping. The other thing, I can visit other shops in Japan, but I’m s

My Precious Experience

The Awesome View at the Fair I have been having a good time since I came here. The teachers, RAs and staff at MFWI welcomed us warmly, so I was very happy and I am also happy now. My life at MFWI is little different from the last semester, but I'm really enjoying this life. Anyway, we went to  the Spokane Interstate Fair  on Tuesday, and I had wonderful experiences that I had never experienced before. The food was very appetizing. First, I was very hungry when we arrived there, so I ate a funnel cake, a big piece of chicken and some pizza. I had never eaten such a big cake and a piece of chicken, so I was excited and happy to eat them. They were very tasty, so I wanted to eat more food. Then, I noticed that a difference between America and Japan. Japanese festivals or fairs also have many branch stores and the food they serve is takoyaki, french fries and cotton candy. I like Japanese festival food, but I also like American fair food more, because we can eat ma
