Neccesary Shopping

I can do amazing shopping in the U.S. I don’t actually go shopping so often in Japan because I don’t want to spend money. However, I can’t help buying things here. One of the reasons I love the U.S. is shopping. I am so excited to go shopping here more than in Japan. A shopping in America is fantastic for three reasons.

My Favorite Clothes of Holister
First of all, there are many kinds of shops in Spokane. That means I have many choices to buy something. In Japan, I can’t buy easily things I want because Japan doesn’t have my favorite shops. In addition, I have to pay more in Japan than in America. If someone asks me my recommendation in America, I’d introduce incredible shops, such as Hollister, Bath and Body, Victoria’s Secret, and American Eagle, and Yankee. These shops are highly famous in the U.S, and I can't buy products of Hollister and Bath and body and Victoria’s Secret in Japan except online shopping. The other thing, I can visit other shops in Japan, but I’m sure there is a difference of prices between Japan and America. Variety shops in America are wonderful.

Secondly, I can get many good deals on shopping in America. For example, I went to the Valley Mall and visited Nordstrom Rack last week. The shop is one of my favorite shops and is a kind of discount shop. We can buy great products at more reasonable price than at other normal shops. I do like this good point. I bought a pair of grass green boots there. The discount price was 108 dollars, and the first price was 189 dollars. I was so surprised! This is a 42% savings. Of course, I really liked these great boots. There are many things like this in this shop. Like this shop, there are many discount shops in Spokane. Buying something at discount shops is one of the reason Spokane has an incredible shopping.

Convenient Shop
Finally, there is a store where I can buy anything I want. It means the store helps my life in Spokane. The store is Walmart. In addition, the price of most products is reasonable. This is very important thing for me. I’ll try to go to Walmart whenever I have free time. I usually buy some foods, such as ice cream, snacks and personal things. There is one surprising thing in the store. It's that Walmart doesn't have only food, but also clothes, CDs, DVDs, cameras, and bikes. I'd like Japanese people to know that Walmart is not just a store. I can’t stop myself from being in ecstasy.

That’s why, shopping in the U.S. is amazing thing for me, but it's not only me. I think anybody who comes to America can have a fantastic shopping time in the U.S. I'm also so excited for Black Friday to come. Black Friday is the day when all stores have a sale. I can't wait for the day. I can imagine that I will continue to buy many wonderful things until I go back to Japan.

My Precious Experience

The Awesome View at the Fair I have been having a good time since I came here. The teachers, RAs and staff at MFWI welcomed us warmly, so I was very happy and I am also happy now. My life at MFWI is little different from the last semester, but I'm really enjoying this life. Anyway, we went to  the Spokane Interstate Fair  on Tuesday, and I had wonderful experiences that I had never experienced before. The food was very appetizing. First, I was very hungry when we arrived there, so I ate a funnel cake, a big piece of chicken and some pizza. I had never eaten such a big cake and a piece of chicken, so I was excited and happy to eat them. They were very tasty, so I wanted to eat more food. Then, I noticed that a difference between America and Japan. Japanese festivals or fairs also have many branch stores and the food they serve...

My Unbelievable Southwest Trip

I experienced a lot of amazing things for seven days with my absolutely wonderful teachers and friends from October 15-21 and learned a lot of Southwest culture, history, and nature. For example, we went to about 12 museums and facilities, such as the Pueblo Cultural Center, the University of Mexico, and some churches in New Mexico and Arizona. Therefore, I kept busy on the trip, but it became something I have never experienced because everything I saw was new to me. There are three things that especially impressed me. First, I was attracted to the buildings of New Mexico. These were really different from Spokane, Boston, or Washington D.C. For example, I went to Old Town in Albuquerque. Then I noticed that almost all the buildings were made of adobe. Adobe means mud brick in Spanish, so the buildings I saw were brown and some parts were air blue. I felt comfortable there. I also saw a plaza and a church which were adobe style buildings. The plaza is the most central part in Old T...
