Great Portland trip

Have you ever been to Portland. Portland is located in Oregon state and west area in the US. It is the most urban area in Oregon state. This place is also known for City of Rose because temperature is appropriate to grow roses. I spent wonderful time in Portland trip. I went to the Portland as a school trip for 4 days. I studied about Portland such as Ruis and Clark, and Oregon trail and so on before I go to the Portland trip. I really enjoyed visiting Columbia Basin college, the chocolate factory, and Multnomah Falls.

I had great time in Columbia Basin college. This college is in Pasco, Washington. We went to the Japanese class to talk students who learn Japanese. I talked one girl who takes Japanese class in the college. When I met her first time, I was a little nervous, but she was so kind. She gave me a stuff as present. I was so happy. After that, I moved to another place that was located many nature such as stream, tree, small waterfall and so on. It made me relax. I talked about a lot of things with my partner in there. For example, we talked about different point between Japanese comics and American comics. She said that Japanese comic is interesting. I didn't know Japanese comic culture so much. I just read comics when I was a child. This was good opportunity to think Japanese culture by another perspective. It was good practice to communicate with American student. I was really happy to visit this college

delicious chocolates
The next day, I had a good time at the Creo chocolate factory in Portland where I heard special lecture. There are many kinds of chocolates such as white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate and cookies. They looked delicious. I expect that this factory is big, but this is small that I expected. There are only three clerk that day. Inside design was cate. I heard that chocolates include 73% Heirloom Arriba Nacional from Ecuador. We tried to eat cacao called boba. I had never eaten it, so that is first time to eat it. It was really bitter I expected. I realized that why chocolate is sweet. I was a little shocked that chocolate include many amount of sugars.I learned about chocolate deeply. It was great time for me.

beautiful waterfalls
On the final day, I saw beautiful scenery at Multnomah Falls. That waterwall is second longest waterfall in the US. Honestly, I had never interested in waterfall in Japan, but when I visited there, my mind was a little changed. I thought that I may like sounds. That sound made me relax. In addition to it, that water fall scenery was great. There was long road that lead to the most beautiful spot to see waterfall.I didn't have time hee to climb it, so i couldn`t that spot. Although, I am sure the scenery is beautiful. If I have a chance to go the Multnomah falls, I want to climb the spot. I was glad to visit there.

In conclusion, I enjoyed Columbia basin college to communicate student. We could share each culture and learned different point between America and Japan. Second day, I was attracted by Chocolate factory. This is good time to learn how to make chocolate. Multnomah fall was really beautiful. It wa great scenery. It made me relax, and I felt comfortable. I ;learned many things throughout this trip. It was valuable time for me. I want to go the Portland again someday.

Unforgettable Southwest Trip

I went on a totally amazing Southwest trip with my classmates. The trip was my first time to go to the Southwest so everything was new to me. Sarah, Anikke and Bethany came with us. They made our trip more exciting. I’m happy I could go on this trip with them and I had a lot of great experiences. First, I really enjoyed New Mexico. It was chilly but not too cold. I went to the Old Town in  Albuquerque, New Mexico. I liked the Old Town because there are many cute things and good restaurants in there. For example, I found a gate that was decorated with a lot of red chili peppers. I had never seen anything like that before so I was very surprised and it looked like a lot of flowers from a distance. The red chili peppers were absolutely gorgeous. Not only that, I found a great restaurant. I forgot the name of the restaurant but they have really delicious Mexican food. They gave me some Mexican chips for free and recommended that I eat the chips with honey. I really like Mexican chip

My most Amazing Three Memories of the Southwest Trip

Last week, I went to the Southwest with all of the Extension students. Before the trip, we learned about history and culture of the Southwest in American west class. So I was looking forward to going on the Southwest trip. But I couldn’t imagine that I could get a lot of memories and experiences on this trip. During this time, we went to New Mexico and Arizona. In New Mexico, I went to Santa Fe and New Mexico University. After that, I went to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Each place has different culture and geography. So I was really surprised and impressed by them. Finally, I got three most amazing memories of the Southwest Trip. First, one of my most amazing memories of South West Trip was downtown in Santa Fe. First of all, I was really impressed by Adobe buildings. I had never seen Adobe buildings before and I thought their design was totally different design from Spokane. The color of the adobe was brown and some of the walls were turquoise blue. So there were a lot of com

Really Faburous Southwest Trip

I had an absolutely amazing experience on the Southwest trip in mid-October. I enjoyed a good deal of beautiful scenery of nature and city areas, delicious food and performances, and culture. I spent a lot of wonderful time with my friends and teachers in Santa Fe, Black Bart’s Restaurant and the Grand Canyon. I enjoyed a good deal of beautiful scenery of nature and city, delicious food and performance, and culture. First, my one of impressive places was Santa Fe Plaza. There were brown houses and buildings made of adobe, and the doors and window frames and decorations were colorful. I like passionate red and turquoise blue color because these colors match the adobe brown color. Also, there were many gift shops in the Plaza, and we could find a lot of native Americans gifts such as dream catchers, pottery, fabrics, unique fashion accessories, dishes, and traditional clothes. I bought a dreamcatcher, some pretty earrings, a ring, and postcards, so I was very happy. It rained at nig
