Recently Japanese people don’t wear kimonos for ordinary occasions. Instead they wear Western clothes. However, there are many occasions such as traditional Japanese entertainment, city events, and festivals when kimonos are displayed. In this presentation, the speaker will explain traditional uses by today’s generation, typical events and types of kimonos in order to help the audience understand Japan’s fabulous kimonos.
