Do you do anything to reduce garbage? If you do, what do you do? According to the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, 9,230,000 metric tons of garbage was recycled in 2012. Japan isn’t rich in natural and material resources and people waste many things in Japan. For example, they use 30 billion plastic bags per year. Therefore the Japanese government agencies are promoting the "3Rs" in order to create a sustainable society based on the 3Rs. The 3Rs stand for Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. This presentation shows that there are creative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle garbage in Japan. After you see this presentation, I'm sure you'll want to take action for the environment.
