Wanted to See Everything!

I went to the Spokane County Fair last week with my friends. I have never been to County Fair. I just have seen them in TV program. So I was looking forward to going to County Fair. Now, I will tell about 3 things. I saw for the first time. There are 3 things. I saw for the fast time.

First, I saw a lot of funny foods for the first time. For example, elephant ear, Greek foods and Italian foods. I wanted eat all of them but I did not have much money so I gave up to buy them but I ate a hot-dog in America for the first time! It was very delicious and had deep taste. Then my friends bought piroshki. I heard Piroshki is Russian food from my friends for the first time again. It has cheese and beef in the piroshki. And my friend told me the shop sold them with cream and chocolate in the piroshki. I felt it was little bit strange for me. But it looked so every kind of food interesting for me!

Second, I saw a lot of animals for the first time. I approached them and took picture. I have seen only sheep in Japan but at this Fair I saw and did touch llamas, goats, pigs, cows and horses for the first time! They are cute and they have sharp horns. But they are very fluffy and soft. They made me happy and mad. Some people do not like their smell but I like their smell. Thanks to them, I could be calm. But I did not rabbits so I regret. I want to live on a farm!

Next, I saw colorful carnival rides for the first time. I have seen them in TV program and picture books so I wanted to see and ride them. My friends and I bought unlimited tickets. Then we rode a lot of rides such as roller coaster, free fall, Ferris wheel, swing ride and a lot of strange scary thrill rides. Most of them I have seen for the first time and I did not know what would happen so I was really really excited. I rode most of them! My friends got motion sickness from the rides but I did not have ride sick. I think I am in love with thrill rides. It is a joke! Anyway, I was very happy, I could ride unusual rides.

In conclusion, I saw a lot of new things! But I wanted to see many more things! But I was really really happy and have fun! I want to experience new things as ever!

Unforgettable Southwest Trip

I went on a totally amazing Southwest trip with my classmates. The trip was my first time to go to the Southwest so everything was new to me. Sarah, Anikke and Bethany came with us. They made our trip more exciting. I’m happy I could go on this trip with them and I had a lot of great experiences. First, I really enjoyed New Mexico. It was chilly but not too cold. I went to the Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I liked the Old Town because there are many cute things and good restaurants in there. For example, I found a gate that was decorated with a lot of red chili peppers. I had never seen anything like that before so I was very surprised and it looked like a lot of flowers from a distance. The red chili peppers were absolutely gorgeous. Not only that, I found a great restaurant. I forgot the name of the restaurant but they have really delicious Mexican food. They gave me some Mexican chips for free and recommended that I eat the chips with honey. I really like Mexican ...

Fabulous Southwest Trip

The Southwest trip was absolutely amazing because I leaned the culture of the area a lot. I spent 7 days in the southwest and I impressed by people who live there and by their culture. These things were totally different from Japan and the people there preserved their traditions carefully. I talk to a lot of Americans and I saw wonderful nature during the trip. There are three absolutely wonderfu and amazing places that I enjoyed. First, I went to a lot of museums and all of them were very interesting. I especially liked The Museum of International Folk Art. The museum has more than 130,000 objects from more than 100 countries! My favorite object was a smiling skeleton doll. This object’s theme was Day of The Dead. When I saw it, I remembered COCO which is a Pixar movie. I also liked The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. Georgia O’Keeffe was an American artist and she painted a lot of flowers and nature. I think her paintings are brimming with kindness ...

Completely amazing trip

I had a good time visiting the Southwest USA with Extension students from 15 to 21, October. It was an education trip and I experienced new things and there was a lot of nature which is comfortable for me. I was looking forward to going on the Southwest trip for a long time. I have image that the Southwest is very hot but this place was cold than Spokane. It was interesting that the temperature was totally different in the same place. There were three emotions that I experienced on this trip. First, I was moved by the beautiful landscape of the Grand Canyon. It is absolutely enormous. When I look down the cliff, I remembered the teacher's caution for us that there are lots of people who die and I scared. I and my roommate wanted to see the sunrise so we tried to got up at 4:00 a.m. and then we could see the sunrise which was really fabulous.
