Marvelous Trip

    This trip was SO marvelous for me and I could learn tons of things such as different cultures, food, people, weather, and buildings. I don't think about Spokane and South America are same country. Also, we had many troubles which we couldn't go to Arizona on the first day and we used the second day just for moving from Spokane to Albuquerque. However, the travelling became my fabulous memory because of such a big troubles.
     First of all, I went to Arizona via Route 66 to go to the Acoma school. It was very interested for me to be the differences of culture in school. The students showed us traditional dance. It was unexpected because I thought the dance was like jazz or no singing but they played traditional instruments and sang traditional songs and danced. I was very surprised at them. Also, a song lyrics was difficult for me. I think it was not English. However, they shouted like animal’s voices. I was surprised at them. The last song was sung in English. The song lyrics was pretty nice because they sang like we are friends. I was glad to listen to the songs.Also, they looked enjoying singing so it made me encourages. Moreover, most of them were similar to Asian faces so I think it is not American like Asian. Also, they had interesting habits like they don't like being taken pictures by other people. I was surprised at these things. 
     Next, I went to the plaza in Santa Fe, there was so excited for me. In the plaza, there were a lot of shops such as jewels, homemade jewels, restaurants, and miscellaneous goods. I went to restaurant to eat traditional food. Unfortunately, I didn't eat traditional food but ate kind of a traditional hamburger in Santa Fe. It was very delicious.  Then, I went to the palace of governors. There were many shops and everyone sold homemade jewels. These were so beautiful and we can ask about reduction. It's good for us but I didn't have
opportunities to ask them.　So I want to go there again and ask them. Santa Fe 　was so cool place.
    Finally, I went to the amazing Grand Canyon!!!! I couldn’t say about the appealings just using the word because the Grand Canyon is extremely marvelous.  The Grand Canyon is 5,000 million years old and it was made by eruption. I was really surprised at the power of nature. I couldn’t believe it. Also, I rode a bicycle to go to the Orange line. I totally enjoyed it because I could see the view riding a bicycle and stop to see the view whenever I wanted to. Also, the wind was good.  Moreover, it was different to see the Grand Canyon from different places so I could see a lot of faces of the Grand Canyon changing the point of view. It was outstandingly fantastic. I won't forget this view. If I can, I want to go there again. Also, I want everyone to go there because I can't explain about very beautiful Grand Canyon without going there.


     In conclusion, this trip was extraordinarily amazing even though I lost 2 days because of the accident. Also, I could learn not only the difference states, but also the culture, food and people. I can grow up as a student through this trip. If I can, I want to go there to know more information. Also, I want to appreciate to teacher's and adviser’s help.

Fabulous Southwest Trip

    The Southwest trip was absolutely amazing because I leaned the culture of the area a lot. I spent 7 days in the southwest and I impressed by people who live there and by their culture. These things were totally different from Japan and the people there preserved their traditions carefully. I talk to a lot of Americans and I saw wonderful nature during the trip. There are three absolutely wonderfu and amazing places that I enjoyed.     First, I went to a lot of museums and all of them were very interesting. I especially liked The Museum of International Folk Art. The museum has more than 130,000 objects from more than 100 countries! My favorite object was a smiling skeleton doll. Completely amazing trip

I had a good time visiting the Southwest USA with Extension students from 15 to 21, October. It was an education trip and I experienced new things and there was a lot of nature which is comfortable for me. I was looking forward to going on the Southwest trip for a long time. I have image that the Southwest is very hot but this place was cold than Spokane. It was interesting that the temperature was totally different in the same place. There were three emotions that I experienced on this trip. First, I was moved by the beautiful landscape of the Grand Canyon. It is absolutely enormous. When I look down the cliff, I remembered the teacher's caution for us that there are lots of people who die and I scared. I and my roommate wanted to see the sunrise so we tried to got up at 4:00 a.m. and then we could see the sunrise which was really fabulous. My Unbelievable Southwest Trip

I experienced a lot of amazing things for seven days with my absolutely wonderful teachers and friends from October 15-21 and learned a lot of Southwest culture, history, and nature. For example, we went to about 12 museums and facilities, such as the Pueblo Cultural Center, the University of Mexico, and some churches in New Mexico and Arizona. Therefore, I kept busy on the trip, but it became something I have never experienced because everything I saw was new to me. There are three things that especially impressed me. First, I was attracted to the buildings of New Mexico. These were really different from Spokane, Boston, or Washington D.C. For example, I went to Old Town in Albuquerque. Then I noticed that almost all the buildings were made of adobe. Adobe means mud brick in Spanish, so the buildings I saw were brown and some parts were air blue. I felt comfortable there.
