My Delightful Life in America

I had a really great time since I came to America as Extension student. It is totally different from last semester. There are a lot of hard work and tons of homework. These things were unimaginable to me before I came back to America. On the other hand, there are a lot of magnificent experiences and encounters more than last semester. These things make have helped me to grow. Also, busy days enrich my life in America. There are three things that make me grown.

Enjoynable America Life
First of all, LCD classes (Language Culture Day) give me wonderful occasions that I talk with native speakers about various topics. This class is very interesting and motivating. Also, LCD class is not only talk with native speakers but also learn American values. When I talked about gun control, I was really surprised about their opinions. I believed that guns have to legal because it is very dangerous. However, their opinions were “NO” because many people are using guns as leisure. Also, it is very difficult to be legal because most people have already have guns in America. My opinion was completely different from their opinions. It was really interesting. The class was very good opportunity to learn American values. It helps me to grow as a person who has a broad outlook.

Second, I can learn how important participate classes actively are through a university preparation class. I have opportunity to go SFCC (Spokane Falls Community College) to take SFCC’s classes once a week. American class style is totally different from Japanese class style. For example, in America, students actively participate in classes. If they had a question, they would raise their hands habitually whereas it is not common in Japan. Usually, students ask questions after the class in Japan. However, I prefer to American style because it is chance to get information from the other student questions and it is easy to understand efficiently. I realized that is important to participate in classes actively. Also, it is important to ask questions while the class. Through the university preparation class, I became to be more active.

Finally, I learn a lot of thing from my superb friends. As you know extension students are very kind and outgoing. Moreover, they have a high motivation about English. They always give me a lot of energy and pleasure. Also, if I had worries, they would encourage me. I am really glad to have such a wonderful friends. In conversation class, we have time to talk with them and exchange our opinions about some topics. They have good opinions and it is fresh and interesting for me. Also, if their opinions were different from others, they would always respect other opinions. They teach me importance of respect. I admire them and I am stimulated by them. They are extremely wonderful my new friends who teach me importance of respect.

In conclusion, I grew up by many wonderful experiences. I appreciate every opportunity which teaches me new and surprising things and importance of consideration. Also, a lot of hard work and tons of homework made me strong. I’ve grown up as human by amazing encounters since I came here.

Neccesary Shopping

I can do amazing shopping in the U.S. I don’t actually go shopping so often in Japan because I don’t want to spend money. However, I can’t help buying things here. One of the reasons I love the U.S. is shopping. I am so excited to go shopping here more than in Japan. A shopping in America is fantastic for three reasons. My Favorite Clothes of Holister First of all, there are many kinds of shops in Spokane. That means I have many choices to buy something. In Japan, I can’t buy easily things I want because Japan doesn’t have my favorite shops. In addition, I have to pay more in Japan than in America. If someone asks me my recommendation in America, I’d introduce incredible shops, such as Hollister , Bath and Body , Victoria’s Secret , and American Eagle , and Yankee. These shops are highly famous in the U.S, and I can't buy products of Hollister and Bath and body and Victoria’s Secret in Japan except online shopping. The other thing, I can visit other shops in Japan, but I’m s...

My Tremendous Portland Trip

Have you ever been to Portland? I could learn a lot of things in Portland. I like Portland so much. Especially, I enjoyed Portland English Language Academy, McLoughlin House and Powell's City of Books.      First, Portland English Language Academy was an enjoyable place for me. Before I entered the class, I was really nervous, because I can't keep talking with people whom I meet for the first time. However, this time was totally different. I had an activity of conversation to talk with every student. It made me comfortable. After that activity, I had a conversation about students' research such as selfie and future jobs. It was really interesting for me because I could hear various opinions about that. Then, the teacher recommended international students to talk about three favorite places in Portland. I learned more about Portland. Those activities were really helpful for me to talk with international students.   ...

My Precious Experience

The Awesome View at the Fair I have been having a good time since I came here. The teachers, RAs and staff at MFWI welcomed us warmly, so I was very happy and I am also happy now. My life at MFWI is little different from the last semester, but I'm really enjoying this life. Anyway, we went to  the Spokane Interstate Fair  on Tuesday, and I had wonderful experiences that I had never experienced before. The food was very appetizing. First, I was very hungry when we arrived there, so I ate a funnel cake, a big piece of chicken and some pizza. I had never eaten such a big cake and a piece of chicken, so I was excited and happy to eat them. They were very tasty, so I wanted to eat more food. Then, I noticed that a difference between America and Japan. Japanese festivals or fairs also have many branch stores and the food they serve...
