Have you ever thought that Japanese culture has a lot of changes in its history? Japan has a long history, which has changed over the years. However, the thing which changed a lot is not only the country, but also its culture. Japanese culture is famous for being unique, but the process of how it grew and became the culture everyone knows today is not well known. Research shows that cultural change and historical change is connected deeply. The presenter will illustrate the basic information of Japanese culture in three important eras, the Heian Era, the Edo Era, and the Meiji Era in Japanese history, and will show how Japanese culture changed throughout history.
