Do you know Mehrabian’s 7%-93% rules? According to the rules, human communication is 93% nonverbal, and 7% actual words. You unconsciously use nonverbal communication, and unconsciously influence others a great deal. Nonverbal communication has a potent influential power; it helps people to understand how they feel, convey what the person is like and what rank the person is. This presentation will discuss three categories in communication such as first impressions, interpersonal relationships and Japanese values compared with other countries. The presenter will explain influential nonverbal elements in communication and how they are different from country to country.
