It has been over a week since I came back to Spokane as an EXT student. Classes have already started. There are new systems, new students and new teachers which are different than before.
To me, the most impressive difference this time is the students. Now, I feel I cannot follow them because they are very excellent in their attitude, especially their positiveness and activeness in the classes. For instance, most EXT students can raise their hands very quickly when they ask questions and say opinions. There is no hesitance and silence which tends to happen to Japanese students. This fact demonstrates that they are very positive, clever and highly motivative students. They usually speak before I wonder even think about trying to raise my hand, and this is beyond description.
I have to be brave and try to speak in the classes, which means, I have to be willing to make mistakes and take risks. At the same time I am so excited to study with such great students here.
