I was glad to go to The Spokane Interstate Fair where I could make
good memories with my friends. First of all, the atmosphere was good and I
enjoyed it. There were many people, shops, animals and attractions. I could not
walk around all the places, but I saw many things and tried as much as I could.
Next, I enjoyed eating food. Before I went there, I learned about this festival
a little, so I wanted to eat “elephant ear”. When I found the shop and ate it,
I thought it was different from what I imaged and was really sweet but it was
tasty. I shared it with my friends and they had the same opinion. I also drank
huckleberry juice and it was delicious, so I want to drink it again. Then, I
rode some attractions. At first, I was afraid of riding on a roller coaster,
but it was so fun. When I rode a Ferris wheel, I could see a beautiful view and
take a lot of good pictures. There were some other attractions at the festival,
and it seemed very scary for me, but people looked happy, so I enjoyed looking
at their faces. As you can see, I had a nice time with my friends.
I had a good time visiting the Southwest USA with Extension students from 15 to 21, October. It was an education trip and I experienced new things and there was a lot of nature which is comfortable for me. I was looking forward to going on the Southwest trip for a long time. I have image that the Southwest is very hot but this place was cold than Spokane. It was interesting that the temperature was totally different in the same place. There were three emotions that I experienced on this trip. First, I was moved by the beautiful landscape of the Grand Canyon. It is absolutely enormous. When I look down the cliff, I remembered the teacher's caution for us that there are lots of people who die and I scared. I and my roommate wanted to see the sunrise so we tried to got up at 4:00 a.m. and then we could see the sunrise which was really fabulous.
