My Eternal Dream

My dream in my life is to visit lots of World Heritage Sites as many as I can. When I visited the Grand Canyon, I was just impressed by the beautiful scenery and got its strong power. I felt how tiny I am; at the same time, I really thanked people who always support me. Therefore, I decided to visit other World Heritage Sites, and I want to know how I feel there. I have three countries where I want to go above all; that is, Australia, Italy and Peru. As visiting these places, I am not sure though; I think something in my mind would be changed like it was at the Grand Canyon. Thus, I want to visit lots of World Heritage Sites from now on.
Huge Ayers Rock
Actually, I have been to Australia, and I saw the Great Barrier Reef. However, I saw it from an airplane, so it was too far. That is why I want to visit Fraser Island on foot and see it from a close place, not from an airplane. Besides, I want to go to the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park to see the Ayers Rock. I have seen it in TV programs and movies many times, and I always hope to go there when I saw the amazing view. I have been to Australia before, but I just stayed only in the Gold Coast. Therefore, I want to visit other places like the Great Barrier Reef and the Ayers Rock next time.


Beautiful Venice and its Lagoon
I have never been to Europe, but I have had a desire to go there for a long time. I want to visit especially Italy in Europe because my image of the country is delicious food, wonderful scenery and historical buildings. Italy has nine World Heritage Sites, but I am especially interested in Florence and Venice. There are lots of beautiful Renaissance buildings in the Historic Centre of Florence, so we feel as if we are in the 15th or 16th Century when we visit the place. Venice and its Lagoon are called “Water City”, and people move by boat, not a car. Both of them are really amazing, so they are often used as movies locations. I long to visit such an artistic places.
mysterious Nasca and Pampas de Jumana
South America is not familiar to me, so I do not have much knowledge about the place; however, I want to go to visit Peru. The reason why I want to go there is there are the Lines and Geoglyphs of Nasca de Jumana and Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. We do not know why ancient people drew and built them still, so it is really mysterious and curious to me. I absolutely want to visit there at least once before I leave this world.






There are lots of World Heritage Sites all over the world. However, I have been only to the Grand Canyon, so I want to visit other places while I am alive. By visiting beautiful and powerful places, we could learn and feel many things. To visit all of the World Heritage Sites is one of my dreams.

Fabulous Southwest Trip

    The Southwest trip was absolutely amazing because I leaned the culture of the area a lot. I spent 7 days in the southwest and I impressed by people who live there and by their culture. These things were totally different from Japan and the people there preserved their traditions carefully. I talk to a lot of Americans and I saw wonderful nature during the trip. There are three absolutely wonderfu and amazing places that I enjoyed.     First, I went to a lot of museums and all of them were very interesting. Completely amazing trip

I had a good time visiting the Southwest USA with Extension students from 15 to 21, October. It was an education trip and I experienced new things and there was a lot of nature which is comfortable for me. I was looking forward to going on the Southwest trip for a long time. I have image that the Southwest is very hot but this place was cold than Spokane. It was interesting that the temperature was totally different in the same place. There were three emotions that I experienced on this trip. First, I was moved by the beautiful landscape of the Grand Canyon. It is absolutely enormous. When I look down the cliff, I remembered the teacher's caution for us that there are lots of people who die and I scared. I and my roommate wanted to see the sunrise so we tried to got up at 4:00 a.m. and then we could see the sunrise which was really fabulous. My Unbelievable Southwest Trip

I experienced a lot of amazing things for seven days with my absolutely wonderful teachers and friends from October 15-21 and learned a lot of Southwest culture, history, and nature. For example, we went to about 12 museums and facilities, such as the Pueblo Cultural Center, the University of Mexico, and some churches in New Mexico and Arizona. Therefore, I kept busy on the trip, but it became something I have never experienced because everything I saw was new to me. There are three things that especially impressed me. First, I was attracted to the buildings of New Mexico. These were really different from Spokane, Boston, or Washington D.C. For example, I went to Old Town in Albuquerque. Then I noticed that almost all the buildings were made of adobe. Adobe means mud brick in Spanish, so the buildings I saw were brown and some parts were air blue. I felt comfortable there.
