I really have noticed a lot ofdifferences between last semester and now. I found clear differences. There are that Mukogawa Fort Wright Institution is in charge of the lawn and the lawn is well kept. How beautiful the campus is! I take pride in the campus. I’m glad to stay and to study in a great environment. Last semester, students who belong to an English Department stayed here, but this semester there are Junior College and Education students whom I don’t know. We can make friends again and we are returning in MFWI, so we have to tell them; how to use a facility, how to go to a shopping mall and so on. All teachers and advisors said to us, Extensioneers should be role models for other students about haw stay here.” It sounds like we have more responsibilities than last semester. One of the differences is RA. My previous RA, Sarah, got married to her fiancé and quit this job. Some RAs live here again. Others left here. It was sort of sad, but new RAs came here. The atmosphere changed a little bit. It is too much to say that expectation is the most different, I think. It’s because we stay here twice. Someone might wonder why extensioneers wanted to study abroad in Spokane again. Each of us have the own reasons for it, but we have a common goal which is we want to improve our English skills. In my case, this semester is so special. Everything is for me. I mean I made money for it by myself unlike last semester when I depend on my parents. Although I had no money, I wanted to stay here again by getting a bank loan which was kind of a debt. It’s my will. In other words, I changed my way of thinking. Teachers also have changed attitude. It means they are more stricter and make us busier. I feel their expectation for us is larger. Anyway, nothing is the same as before. I have to come up with my goal.
